Please click the "Donation Button" to make a secure encrypted donation. You may donate with a MasterCard, Visa, American Express or a Discover credit card.

Please inform us of the charities you would like to donate to and how much money you want to give to each charity. We invite you to explore the charities, as a family, and pick multiple charities that you and your family are interested in. If you would also like to participate in our Share Program, where a small percentage of the money you donate goes to your local Synagogue's social action charity, please provide us with the name and address of your local Synagogue, and what percentage you would like to donate. This is an easy way to help your local Synagogue's social action charity as well as promoting Jewish charities.

Ideas for Giving:
  • Ask your guests to donate a small portion ($10-$20) of their gift to us.
  • Donate 10-20% of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah party's cost.
  • Donate 10-20% of the gifts received.
  • Take a loan from the gifts received and pay back your child at your convenience. Now, there should be no excuses for not being able to afford a donation.

  • Share 2-7% of your donation with your local synagogue's Tzedakah fund.
  • Encourage vendors to donate to us or only use vendors who have donated to I've Done My Part.

  • Budgeting for a Donation:

  • Cut back on the departing gifts, sweatshirts, shorts, T-shirts, etc. It only makes the children who were not invited feel left out when everyone shows up at school wearing the same clothes.
  • Eliminate the entertainment geared for adults. Adults really do not need to be entertained at a cocktail hour.
  • Only have a photographer or videographer, not both.
  • Use off brand liquor, only a select few will notice or care.
  • Eliminate some stations at the cocktail hour, we always go overboard at the cocktail hour.
  • Cut back on dessert, most people are full and tired and will not mind.
  • Cut back on the centerpiece, they only get thrown out at the end of the party or after a few days.
  • Have a 'kids only' party.
  • These are a few examples how to save when planning a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, we are sure you can think of more, just remember, be creative and open minded.
